I will be starting this post here and later moving it to the Lore Section.
Fae Arts are another facet to each of our Fae characters that make us different from others. They are not essential but can be useful and fun to explore. Learning Fae Arts at high levels however is not a simple undertaking, I want to outline here the time it will take to learn Fae Arts and what is expected for a character to be credited with knowing them. This is not written in stone, some people driven to learn and showing the effort will learn faster than someone who casually pursues them.
Level One Arts:
A few hours instruction with a mentor can reduce the learning time, however several weeks to a month of practice/roleplaying along with at least one story outlining your character learning the art will show their proficiency.
Level Two Arts:
Some build on the first level of the Art others don't. Several months of investigating and practice/roleplaying will see a character gaining proficiency, along with documenting the effort in several stories or journal entries.
Level Three Arts:
Six months to a year of roleplay on a characters part. Its now becoming a long project you will want to chronicle.
Level Four Arts:
If you really want it, instruction will reduce the time to learn Arts at this level but a year of dedicated learning/roleplaying and stories to back up the learning will see a character proficient at this level.
Level Five Arts:
Restricted
This is quest level for Arts, and serious rp time along with storytelling is involved. Permission to learn this level will be needed also.
